These things are awesome! Had one as a kid. The technology is a little better so the cars went around the track no problem. Great setting up around the Christmas tree. Bought it as a gift and we had lots of fun.

UPDATE: One car doesn’t work…
The red car doesn’t work out of the box. How can I get a replacement?I contacted the seller about the car not working and they were excellent! They didn’t argue with me at all, but have me the choice of a refund or four brand new cars free of charge. I opted for the cars as my son was in love with his new toy. They promptly shipped the cars expedited, and I received very quickly and all four cars work.This track provides hours of fun for my car loving 6 year old. The track and cars are not cheaply made, but the opposite! The pieces are very easy to put together; my only complaint is the guardrails are difficult to snap on, they come off easily, and the feet can break if you fail to put them on carefully. If you’re child loves cars, I highly recommend this track and company.

Super fun. Could be sturdier. Worth the price.
The media could not be loaded.
Super fun but not super sturdy. The plastic orange guardrail bumpers are more difficult than I thought they should be to put on and to keep from falling off. Plus lots of the clips broke on them. Only down to a few left. Not a huge deal. But seems like they should be a little better quality. My ex husband had a slot car track and I remember it being lots of fun so always wanted another. My youngest daughter is 4 and she loves Hot Wheels cars and tracks. I figured this would be a huge hit and it is. But the cars fly off the track pretty easy. I think the reason is the track pieces wiggle apart pretty easy and the guardrails aren’t super effective. We have fun and that is all that matters. This isn’t a high dollar track. I bought it for my 4 year old and I to play. My youngest dog (8 month old shih tzu pup) loves watching the cars!! She is so funny. Every once in awhile a car goes by and she grabs it. My daughter and I laugh hilariously. I had a cat back when I was married before with the other slot car track. She has since passed. But she loved the track too. Like Godzilla (because she was huge) jumping on the little cars. Ha! I give this 4 stars. Could be a little sturdier.

Don’t buy!
Bought for our 8 year old grandson. My husband and grandson spend 2-3 hours putting this together. It took longer than it should have because the track sections DO NOT fit tightly together. As soon as they began racing cars on it the track would separate in places resulting in cars going off track. The orange side rails are very stiff and difficult to attach to curved track. When we’d finally get them to bend a little to attach to track they’d snap in to! Grandson quickly became bored with constantly having to push track pieces together and cars flying off. Not worth the money. We returned it to Amazon.

Hours of fun – must buy!
I grew up playing with one of these and wanted to pass along the experience to my kids. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience it has provided! This toy has brought endless joy and excitement to our home. First and foremost, the assembly was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and the pieces fit together perfectly. Be gentle! Within minutes, we had a fully functioning race track ready for action. Overall, this slot car race track set is a fantastic toy that promises hours of entertainment and fun. It’s well worth the investment for any family looking to create lasting memories and enjoy some high-speed racing action. What earns the five stars all the way for me is the criss cross to knock cars off when racing the kids.

Was great while it worked
5 year old loves this thing. No idea why, but it just stopped working. Replaced batteries, cleaned track, cleaned dust from under cars, but can’t get it to work anymore. Sadly it didn’t even last a year 🙁

It works great and reminds me of being a kid
Works and functions like it should. The direction were misleading saying you need these other parts but you don’t just look at the picture for the black pillars that hold the tracks up. Would buy again from this vendor. I sent them a question never got answer but product is good. And of course kids will use it for 20 mins then stop lmao they have ipads and cell phones now at age 3 lol but growing up with something like as a kid it’s a great buy! Take away cell phones and Xbox they will play with this toy!

WOW the cars go really fast and often comes off track. so, place the rails were it’s needed to stop the cars from going off track

Excellent customer support!
Was a fun Christmas present for my grandson. Took a little effort and patience to put the track together. Started having issues with cars not responding after awhile. It is really important to position the brushes as shown on the diagram. We did change the brushes, which helped somewhat. Ultimately, I requested a refund. It was really fun while it worked as it was designed.Customer service was prompt and courteous when I reached out to them. Also it was stated that my issue with the performance of the product was being reviewed by the design/technical team, so I appreciate that.
