Great first race track! Fun for everyone!
This Slot Car Race Track has been a huge hit in our house! My 7-year-old received it for Christmas and has been having a blast playing with it.What we love: * Easy Assembly: The instructions were clear and concise, making it easy to put the track together. * Independent Play: My son can easily set up the track and race the cars on his own, which is a huge plus. * Multi-Car Racing: The ability to race multiple cars simultaneously adds a thrilling competitive element.Areas for Improvement: * Battery Power: When running on batteries, the cars seem a bit less powerful. * Sturdy Stands: The stands for the tracks could be a bit more sturdy.Overall Experience:We’ve been very impressed with this Slot Car Race Track. Piece of track was cracked
Race track was fun for my 4 year old. Kept him busy for the first few days. Unfortunately a piece of the track came cracked so the cars get stuck on the cracked piece and dont run smoothly. Fairly easy to put together. I wish the pieces that hold the track up snap into place and didn’t fall off so easy. Wish the track was not as expensive. The cars need adjustment often to keep running but maybe it’s because of the crack. Otherwise my son thinks it’s fun.Update: Customer Service is great! They reached out to me to address the issue with the cracked piece. Definitely would recommend this toy for anyone looking for a race track for their kids!

Fun times with grandson
This was a great find to relive my youth with my grandson. Track went together fairly well and though it sometimes separates, pieces are easy to put back together. Until I find a true HO set, this will do just fine.

Looses speed after a few plays
The track works great with the cars racing fast the first few days, but eventually starts to slow down drastically despite being plugged in the wall. The metal part on the track starts to have black looking spots and the cars get stuck too often to be fun anymore. This has happened with 2 tracks. The company was nice enough to replace our first one that developed this problem, but the 2nd one is doing it too. It’s too bad as it was fun to play with in the beginning.

I picked this up as a last minute xmas gift for my son. Some of the product videos made it look promising enough. My expectations were not super high. Tyco isn’t around anymore. I just wanted to find a decent, fun and simple slot car racing set.Positives:Fast shipping. It is packed nice and neat. No Missing parts. Assembling was pretty straight forward. Instructions are easy to follow for assembly. You get 4 cars to choose from and the option to use Batteries or plugin into an outlet.Negative Stars explained:-1/3 Rails are cheap and break easy:You must be extremely careful. You do have to bend them slightly for assembly since they attach to the curved tracks pieces. Sadly, it seems like they were made with a type of plastic that isn’t meant to bend. If it bends only slightly too much, it snaps.-2/3 Lanes are different speeds:Once we got it assembled we were excited to have some slot racing fun.Right away we noticed one lane is always faster than the other. We tried swapping cars and trying the others it came with. No luck. One lane will always be faster. Because of this, right from the start, you lose the ability to have any fair race. At that point you just need to be entertained by cars moving and nothing more.-3/3 Power failure?:For seemingly no reason, with barely any usage, the cars would stop working. Or 1 would stop while the other kept working. Or both. I saw in another review that if the tracks can be loose and disconnect easy, but that was not the case here. Each piece seemed like a nice tight fit. They would work one moment and not at all the next.Overall, I am not at all happy with this thing. I regret wasting $66.77 on this when funds have been extremely tight this year. It was a very disappointing experience. Probably won’t use it again. And I don’t want to give it away to some other poor kid who would also be disappointed. It’s a loss.I miss brands like Tyco. Their stuff wasn’t perfect, but it just worked and we used to play with those for hours. This company seems to be gaining popularity with so many good reviews. Good for them earning money. But I do hope they take note with the negative ones and make changes to their product. We need a new Tyco successor.

Impressive way cars stay on track
Bought it for 4yr old grandson he loves it. I had AFX sets when young so brought back memories, very impressed, cars stay on track and even the motor burning smell was there. 4 stars needs to go faster

My last experience with a slot car of any type was in the 70s.I was going to buy the AFX brand for which i am familiar from my childhood but it was a little pricey and decided to go with the cheaper one instead.The set is easy to set up and works well.Certainly worth the price and performance is as advertised.I’m still curious regarding the AFX set and think I might give that one a try as well?We’ll seee if I do decide to get the AFX set I will review and provide video clip.
