Best fan ever!
I absolutely love this fan! Here are some reasons why:-Clean, minimal design with an equally elegant remote (that attaches to the wall holder magnetically!)-Powerful with 6 speeds.-Dimmable light that goes from dim to very bright. Also, the color of the light is very nice, similar to sunlight.-Whisper quiet thanks to the DC motor.-Reasonably priced for the quality, which is quite good.-Easy installation – even includes a cord with a hook to hang the fan from the mounting bracket while you wire it.Overall, an excellent value for anyone looking for a beautiful, modern ceiling fan with excellent functionality.

EDIT: fixed the issue that caused my low rating!
EDIT: I was able to figure out the pairing issue with the fan and the app. as a result, I am updating my review to 4 stars. it doesn’t deserve 5 because it should not have been so hard to figure out the issue, but now that it’s connected to my phone and it’s accessible in homekit via homebridge, I am very pleased with the fan and the control. I will say that Breeze mode is too variable and I don’t like it as much as I’d hoped. but otherwise it is a solid fan and worth the money.For such a premium price I expected better. While it was great that the fan and the wall controls came pre-paired, I could not get the app to pair with the fan at all. Instructions were useless and even the great internet had minimal suggestions. Fan looks nice but I could have bought a $50 Chinese fan that did the same thing. I bought WAC specifically so I could use it with an app. Very disappointed.

Love this fan!
I just love this fan! It is so sleek and modern looking for my 8 ft ceilings. It is hard to find a good looking fan for such low ceilings. It is also sooo quiet. I like that it is LED that can be bright or dimmed. It feels and looks good quality. I’m so happy we bought it! The only negative I can think of is it doesn’t work with the light switch. It comes with a remote or works with Alexa. So far it has worked flawlessly with Alexa but there is a slight delay. Maybe only 10-20 seconds, but when I want to run into the room to grab something and leave quickly it feels a little annoying. I’m so glad we bought it. Edit–I read in another review that it beeps. Ours does not beep at all. The only time was when we were setting it up with wifi and Alexa. It is totally silent.

Tthe fan direction option didn’t work at all.
Quality appeared good. It operates quietly. The remote is a nice feature, if it worked.Installation was straight forward until attempting to hang the fan in place. There are A LOT of wires and the remote transmitter just sits loosely in the within the space among all the wires: the volume to store all the wiring along with the transmitter is marginal. When trying to hang the fan you must be very deliberate where the wires are compressed AND THE DIRECTIONAL ORIENTATION of the transmitter simply sitting on top of the wiring which does not have a dedicated spot for location. The fan assembly can not be attached until and unless the transmitter is oriented to clear machine screws withing the storage cavity. Once figuring this out, and compressing all the wiring and then laying the transmitter on all the wiring in the correct orientation the assembly can finally be hung: just barely. If you know this ahead, it will reduce frustration. You must get your bearings where all this needs to be stored before hanging.Finally got it all assembeld and hung, only to find out the fan wind orienetion would not work. It comes with a “Summer” and “Winter” direction option, with Summer as the default.I live in Florida and need it to blow downward for air circulation. It blows upward. And will NOT change direction.An aside is I’m 72 years old, and after being on a ladder struggling with getting this hung properly has aggrevated my hip which is a personal challenge anyway. Now to find the fan is useless for me because the wind direction is wrong is very disappaointing.I would not recommend the purchase of this product. I now have a $250 light with a fan which is of no use. At least the remote operates the light.

This is a nicely designed fan.
From how it was packed in the shipping box to build quality, this is a really nice fan. Install instructions were clear. The only issue I had was getting the receiver to lay in the top of the fan with the spaghetti of wires. A firm attachment point for the receiver would have made that easier. There was also a firmware update required at powerup that gave me pause but I simply downloaded app as requested, associated my phone to the fan’s wireless network and it all went smoothly.Operationally, the fan and light work as expected. I would not hesitate to purchase another WAC fan.

Good Fan
Basically a fairly good fan. I’ve installed fans in my house before, so I know what I’m doing, and so installation wasn’t particularly hard, but the instructions could be better – they appear to have been written by somebody too familiar with the product and not good at putting themselves in the place of the installer or DIY homeowner (multiple steps combined into one not clearly, some steps skipped, one not in the right order (my opinion), references to drawings not explained properly or provided, and maybe trying to save on paper to cut expense). If you’ve never installed a fan before, you will find the instructions a little frustrating. I installed both the wall switch and have the remote and they both work well (also works well with the phone app – connected to my home wifi network very easily). This fan moves the air very well and quietly, although the movement is somewhat more audible at Settings 4-6. The light does dim well up and down, but I question the 1600 lumen LED claim. 1600 lumen at 3000K should be the same as two 60w soft white standard bulbs, but I don’t think this light reaches this level of brightness in my opinion.

This hugger fan exceeded our expectations.
This is a hugger fan for a basement bedroom so it was important that the fan stay close to the ceiling. The remote control, light and fan blades are all exactly what we needed and expected. We are very happy with this purchase as the sleek look fits the design we were looking for.
