Great pillows. And I am a straight up pillow snob. These are not cheap pillows mind you but they’re nowhere near as expensive as at least half of the pillows I have tested or currently are using. I tested everything up to $300 pillows and these are currently on my bed and in my rotation for the foreseeable future, they are excellent pillows.I don’t know how to grade pillows. I’ve never had formal training lol I just imagine I’m just like you. If I sleep good on it it’s a good pillow. When I hold it and I feel the quality is high. That’s a good pillow. These have all of the above. They’re extremely well-made and extremely comfortable while they’re not the most unique pillows or they’re not the most jaw dropping instantly as soon as you touch them type of comfort they are excellent excellent pills and should still be considered. The stitching is exquisite meaning nice tight stitching no loose seams or anything.You can see in my second photo all the pillows that are currently in my rotation are the ones on my bed. And you can see the pillows in my window seat behind in the picture. That’s just what you can see in my room. I have 10 more pillows in closets. I have considerable experience in this area just like you I’ve spent a third of my life in bed. You spend 33% of your life in bed on average did you know that? Think about that. 33% of your life is spent in bed. You should not try to nickel and diamond something that you spend 30% of your life doing and what you do in this 30% affects what you do in the 66% of the rest of your life so treat your sleep schedule good treat your body good and treat yourself to some higher quality things for your body. Start with a mattress and pillows. Splurge once on a mattress and pillows that will last 10 years and you can’t go wrong.I like the way that these puff up inside the pillowcases (it’s laundry day so that’s why my pillows have no pillowcases at the moment)Anyway, there’s not much I can say about them except they’re good excellent pillows and I was not expecting them to be anything as impressive as they are. I certainly was not expecting them to make it into my rotation, but they are in their spot I think, and I noticed when I wake up in the morning, I tend to have moved or adjusted to one of these pillows in the middle of the night. I have a regular pillow that is my personal go to will be with me for years probably pillow that I go to sleep with every night and a couple of times I have woken up with that on the floor and me usually one of these pillows I find that truly unexpected. I don’t know why it’s happening except I must really like these pillows lol I don’t sleep with anybody else in my bed so it’s not like somebody stealing my pillow from me. I’m actively choosing these. Anyway they’re good pillows. How many times do I have to say it? Lol good luck sweet dreams.

These are very nice – they look nice and they are very comfortable
When I see that a lot of effort and care is put into packaging a product, I have very high expectations and I was certainly pleased.The pillows arrived in a very nice box, that when opened said, “Hello”, and the product was beautifully wrapped in tissue. The pillows themselves were compressed for shipping, and the instructions were simple but direct. My instructions to myself were, “don’t cut the pillow getting it out of the packaging. I needn’t have worried, because the sealing bag had a very long extension at the end, and cutting open the bag was easily done without getting anywhere near the pillow.The pillows were tightly compressed, but the included instructions said to just, “fluff up the pillow”, and so I did, and they became full and fluffy over the course of a few hours. When it finally became time to put on a cover and try them out, it was very nice indeed. One thing I liked is that the pillows are a medium firmness, and so you can just snuggle down into the pillow, or if you want it more firm, just bunch it up and it is higher and firmer.A couple of things to be aware of – the pillows are filled with 50% Goose Down fiber, which some describe as, “left over from the separation of down and feathers”, 40% Goose Feather fiber, which is more of the same only different, and 5% Goose Down, and 5% Goose feathers – and even though the company is based in Seattle, Washington, the pillows are made in China; but most things are these days.I like these pillows, and they look very well made, and they are certainly comfortable irrespective of what kind of goose is inside. One surprise is that the company recommends machine washing in cold water, tumble drying and then re-fluffing. That eases my mind a lot, as cleaning things filled with feathers and such, is always problematic for me.This pair of King size pillows sells today on Amazon for $229, and you can easily find pure goose down pillows for less than that, but these are good quality, they are comfortable, and they appear as if they will last a long time. Sleep is such an underrated commodity, and anything that will make sleep easier – or longer – is worth using. If the pillows are comfortable, and they are, and they can be kept clean, and they can, then I’m not sure it matters what part of the goose is stuffed inside as long as they help me sleep – and they will. I recommend them.

Nice pillow but lack some of the things that makes down so good.
I typically use down (usually with some feathers) pillows and have for years. My existing pillows are due for a swap out and thought I’d give these a try. These pillows are packed well and come compressed (but not vacuumed flat like many foam pillows do). After removing them from the box and bag they very quickly fluff back up.These pillows are filled with 50% Goose Down fiber and 40% Goose Feather fiber plus 5% down and 5% feathers. The thing that is so good about down is the “poofiness” of it where the down captures air with it resulting in warmth and softness by resisting compaction of the down. Down (and feather) fibers are effectively small pieces of down/feathers which tend to compact on itself rather than staying fluffy. For a pillow the warmth component isn’t a huge deal (and may be a negative) but the decrease or loss of the “poofiness” means that the pillow isn’t quite as soft as a normal down pillow.To me this pillow feels more like a feather pillow (without getting poked by the feathers that normally accompanies feather pillows) more than a down pillow. It is heavier, denser, and not quite as comfortable as a true down pillow. That isn’t to say it isn’t a good pillow or uncomfortable but alas it isn’t at the same quality level as my existing down pillows.

Have you ever slept on a cloud?
I never could’ve seen myself with $200 pillows but now I can’t see myself without them. You really do get what you pay for. These pillows are the epitome of comfort.I was surprised when I unboxed them as the box seemed a little too small for two king size pillows. They are vacuum sealed and take an hour or so to “grow” to their intended size. It took about 2-3 hours before they were completely puffed up.I’m not exaggerating when I said these are like sleeping on a cloud. I’ve never in my life felt a pillow like that unless I stayed at the Aria in Vegas. They offer the PERFECT amount of support. I was originally concerned when my head sank into the pillow but as a side sleeper, it was sheer perfection. Not too firm and not too weak (like when your head goes right to the other side of the pillowcase.) I felt like I was enveloped in a cloud. I highly advise giving these pillows the respect they deserve and utilize a high thread count pillowcase. It really delivers the luxury experience home.Something worth mentioning, I’m a hot sleeper. And I struggle with pillows that can really breathe and give you that “cool side” all night long. These pillows actually did!! I couldn’t believe it. The down-proof lining prevents the filling from leaking out and really drives home that clean, fresh feeling hotels seem to achieve. I can really see why Pacific Coast is the leader in hotel pillows. I feel like I brought the Aria home with me!Lastly, you can wash these to keep them clean unlike other down style pillows. Just wash gentle on cold and tumble dry low. Or they mention in the pamphlet to place them in the warm sun to restore their fluffiness. These really are the perfect pillows and I plan on grabbing another set ASAP!

I am reviewing: Pacific Coast White Goose Down Fiber Pillows, Bed Pillows for Back, Stomach and Side Sleepers, King Size Pillows Set of 2, Hotel Collection, Fluffy, MediumI almost didn’t order these because of the evasive words used to describe the fill material. I was looking for goose down pillows to replace a pair that I slept on blissfully for over 15 years. I can’t calculate the amount I’ve spent on pillows in the last five years, just to get a good nights sleep.I have CNH and I have tried every type of pillow, with no relief. Until now.These pillows, while what’s inside is still a mystery, are the perfect mix of light firmness, without being overstuffed. I am able to create a more molded shape that cradles my head gently, while not pressing as much on that ear. I can’t say that it is 100% comfortable, but for anyone without this ear problem, who is looking for a pillow that is not overstuffed, this is the one.The pillows arrive, beautifully presented, think wedding giftable, and vacuum packed. Set them free, give them a tumble in the dryer and they’re ready. The outer casing of these pillows is satin soft, and thick enough that there is no sign of whatever is inside. They fluff up tall, and then they conform to you as you cuddle and hug them to make them yours. Ready to turn over to the other side, just give it a punch or two and snuggle down again.They smell good, they feel good, and they are washable, so I think I’ve got my next 15 years covered!

More firm than medium feel.
A bit pricey but well worth having something that the feathers will not poke through. That hasn’t happened yet. I’ve been using it for over a week and not one poke. I will say the medium feels a bit firm and it does go flat overnight but it does fluff up well. The lining does keep the feathers in place well and has a really nice soft feel to the pillow. It’s a quality pillow and I feel that the more I use it the more it will get. Right now, using it for over a week, it still feels firm. After fluffing it at night, it’s a high pillow but it settles quickly. Quality pillow, a little pricey.

Not a down pillow
Advert is lying. I thought I bought a down pillow. I have had many before and teplace every couple years. Says down in header, and in product material says down and nothing else. It is 50% goose down fiber down,40% goose feather, 5% goose down, 5% goose feathers.

Not Foamy!
I had been using a very thick memory foam pillow and thought it was great, but I did find myself having to deliberately press down hard with my head to make the foam compress enough that my neck wasn’t at an angle.This pillow arrived with a fresh linen scent that I love, but it needed a bit of a massage to get to a “fluffy” state. The first night I was skeptical; this pillow is half the height of my memory foam pal, and I couldn’t fathom how this “flat” thing could be comfortable. The second night was better, possibly because the pillow had time to fluff up a little more, and I am appreciating it more and more.

Good pillows, on the expensive side.
These pillows are nice, and they seem the type to last quite awhile, especially if they are machine washable as they claim. They are not as soft as down pillows, and feel a bit more dense. But they are good to sleep on. I prefer them to most of my other pillows, I have a lot, but they are not my top favorite, as they are a little more dense, and warm, than I prefer.They are high quality pillows, and the fabric seems thick but flexible. They don’t have any feather pieces poking through, and they come in a nice giftable box. However, they don’t really seem like hundred dollar pillows. That price is a little high for the small amount of actual down they contain.
