Excellent. Super quiet, lots of features.
Nice modern design. Good quality. Relatively easy to install, especially if you’re just replacing an already existing older ceiling fan, although the installation manual is not great. There’s very little words in the manual and it’s mostly just pictures but certain parts are not very clear. Luckily, you can pretty much figure it all out anyway just using common sense. It is VERY quiet. The remote works so-so. Sometimes you have to hold a button down for a longer time before it registers. I find the brightness of the light to be fine, which I was a little worried about after reading some of the other reviews where some people found it not bright enough. It seems bright enough to me. Most of the surfaces are all smooth so it, hopefully, shouldn’t accumulate too much dust and it should be easy to clean any dust that does accumulate thanks to the smooth surfaces. However, the top of the light assembly actually has a big scoop-out around the entire top (part facing the ceiling) so this area will definitely accumulate dust. Other than that, I have no complaints and am very happy with this ceiling fan/light. TIP: Use car wax and wax the top side of the blades that will be facing the ceiling and also wax the top of the light assembly part or, better yet, just wax everything. This should help with keeping dust from accumulating and also make it easier to clean off any dust that does wind up accumulating.

I am extremely happy with this TCL ceiling fan! The wooden-style blades look elegant and add a warm, natural touch to my living room décor. The fan itself is powerful yet very quiet. Innovative ceiling fan with lots of useful features. I’ve installed dozens of ceiling fans over the years and this one is better than most for lots of reasons. It’s not any easier to assemble than many others but it’s not too difficult either. The instructions could be better with larger print but you’ll get through it.Once assembled the fan is much lighter than most so hefting it up the ladder is fairly easy. Once you’re up there there is a handy hook on the ceiling plate to hang the little support cable attached to the fan so that you can safely see to the wiring which entails a couple of plug in connectors to the remote module and the usual black, white and ground. The ground wire is already thoughtfully screwed to the ceiling plate.I bought two of these and the first one attached readily to the ceiling plate while the second, for whatever reason, put up a fuss trying to get the screw keyways engaged on both sides. It gave up before I did.Once on the ceiling you’ll enjoy 6 fan speeds, 3 light modes with dimmer, reverse, and even a “wind” mode that modulates the fan speeds automatically plus a bunch of other stuff. The fan is virtually silent compared to many others I’ve tried.I chose white and the fan appears totally neutral in my “colonial formal” bedroom decor. It does not draw attention to itself because of the very low profile and minimalist no-frills design.Can’t speak to longevity but it appears well-engineered and manufactured. I don’t expect any problems.No bulbs to replace!

Using this fan in the kitchen to stay comfortable while cooking up a storm. Provides great air flow to stay cool when the pots are boiling, and provides adequate lighting to read recipes or instructions.Just an FYI during “my” installation since this is a flush mount style. I found it easier to connect the AC wires, and mount the fan motor assembly first, and then mount the fan blade assemblies and LED assembly. This keeps the fan blades from scraping across the ceiling, because your going to be in between the fan blades while connecting the wires to the motor assembly while it is hanging from the mounting plate. The installation and assembly of the parts went very well without any issues. Very satisfied with this fan assembly and how it works so far. Thanks, and have a swell day. 🙂

Excellent fan with powerful light
I installed two of these ceiling fans in the bedrooms and they were an excellent choice. The fan has great airflow, and the light is very bright and evenly distributed. An Excellent Fan For The Price
These fans are awesome. I am so glad I bought three of these to replace the huge, ugly old brown ones that came with my house. They work exactly as described and the three different types of light settings that are dimmable are really nice to have. They are indeed very quiet and very attractive. The remote control comes with a little bracket to mount it on the wall, which I did, right next to the light switch.

Not bright at all
This light is unbelievably underpowered. I bought this to replace my older style kitchen fan/light combo and it is a huge disappointment. I’m barely getting 20ft/Cdl under the light. On a 9 foot ceiling. The LED housing is way underutilized. Maybe this would be good for a small bedroom, but otherwise, look for something else. Also, the remote is huge, ugly and white. This doesn’t make any sense for a room you’d want a black fan in.On the “bright” side: the fan function is pretty good.

Lamp is only 2000 lumens; dimmable 4000 would be better.
I replaced a hanging lamp with five 75-watt bulbs: 2000 lumens provided by this unit is only a bit over half as bright. Also, once you turn the switch on, it takes between 2 and 3 seconds for the lamp to respond. Otherwise, this is a very good unit. I appreciate the broad catalog of lamp options as well as fan options that the remote offers. Easy installation, mounts closer to the ceiling than many other fans.
