Lorpies 52″ Smart Ceiling Fan with Lights – Ultra Silent DC Motor, WiFi & Voice Control

-
The Smart Ceiling Fan That Does More Than Spin
Most ceiling fans do one thing: move air. The Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor rated model does much more. It moves air in near-total silence. It lights your room with tunable white illumination. It responds to your voice. It saves energy. And it looks beautiful doing all of it.
Whether you are installing on a covered Charleston porch, a Sacramento bedroom, or a humid Florida sunroom, the Lorpies 52″ smart fan delivers powerful, efficient airflow without announcing its presence with hums, clicks, or wobbles. The Black Walnut Brown finish complements farmhouse, mid-century modern, industrial, and coastal decor alike of Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor.

Ultra Silent DC Motor – 35dB of Pure Quiet
The heart of the Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor is its brushless DC motor. Unlike traditional AC motors that generate noise, heat, and wear, this DC motor operates at just 35 decibels – quieter than a library, quieter than a refrigerator, nearly as quiet as breathing.
-
No humming at low speeds.
-
No clicking when changing directions.
-
No wobbling when properly installed.
-
6 speed settings from a gentle “barely there” breeze to 5,200 CFM of hurricane-force cooling.
Because the motor is brushless, there are no parts to wear out. No capacitors to fail. No belts to snap. This fan is built to run silently for years to Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor.
-
-

Energy Efficient – 70% Less Electricity
The DC motor in the Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor uses 70% less electricity than a comparable AC motor fan. Running this fan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week costs less than $2 per month based on the USA average electricity rate of $0.14 per kWh.
Compare that to an old AC fan costing $10–15 per month. The Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor pays for itself in energy savings within 12–18 months.
Reversible airflow doubles your savings:
-
Summer mode (counterclockwise): Creates a wind chill effect, allowing you to raise your thermostat by 4°F without feeling warmer.
-
Winter mode (clockwise): Pushes warm air trapped at the ceiling back down to living level, reducing furnace run time by up to 15%.
-
-
Smart Control – Your Voice, Your Rules
The Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor offers four ways to control your comfort. No hub required – the fan connects directly to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
1. Voice Control (Alexa & Google Assistant)
-
“Alexa, set the patio fan to 50%.”
-
“Hey Google, dim the porch light to 20%.”
-
“Alexa, turn off the bedroom fan in 30 minutes.”
2. Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor App (iOS & Android)
-
Adjust speed, brightness, and color temperature.
-
Create schedules: “Fan turns on at 7 PM at speed 3, off at 6 AM.”
-
Save scenes: “Goodnight” dims lights to 10%, fan to speed 1.
3. Included Remote Control (Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor)
-
Full-function remote with LCD screen.
-
Wall mount bracket included – no more lost remotes.
-
50-foot range through walls (RF, not IR).
4. Standard Wall Switch (Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor)
-
Works with any USA wall switch. Keep it “on” for smart features, or use it as a manual cut-off.
-
-
Dimmable Tunable White LED – 1,800 Lumens
The integrated LED light kit produces 1,800 lumens – as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb – while using only 18 watts.
You have complete control over both brightness and color at Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor:
Setting Range Best For Brightness 10% – 100% Night light to task lighting Color Temperature 2700K – 6500K Warm sunset to cool daylight Presets include Soft White (2700K), Bright White (4000K), and Daylight (6500K). The fan remembers your last setting, so you never have to readjust.
The LED is rated for 50,000 hours. At 8 hours of daily use, that is nearly 17 years before you need to replace the fixture Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor.
-
Indoor & Outdoor Rated – Damp Location Approved
The Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor carries a damp location rating (UL Standard 507). This means it is certified safe for:
-
Covered patios and porches (where rain does not directly hit).
-
Sunrooms and three-season rooms.
-
Bathrooms (not directly over a shower or tub – that requires wet rating).
-
Coastal homes (the Black Walnut Brown finish resists humidity better than painted white fans).
Do not install in fully exposed outdoor locations where rain or sprinklers directly hit the fan. For those applications, choose a wet-rated fan.

White wire (neutral)
-
Green or bare copper (ground)

Important USA code requirement: The junction box must be rated for ceiling fan support. Standard light fixture boxes are not strong enough and can fail, causing the fan to fall. If your existing box is not fan-rated, you must replace it before installation.

Pain & Gains (What Hurts – What Heals)
Note: Corrected from “porn” to “pain” – a typo from the original request.
The Pain (Problems with Old or Cheap Ceiling Fans) of Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor
| Pain Point | What It Feels Like |
|---|---|
| Noise pollution | Humming, clicking, wobbling. You cannot sleep, work, or watch TV without distraction. |
| High electric bills | Old AC fans draw 70–100 watts. Running one 24/7 costs $10–15 per month. |
| Lost remotes | Pull chains break. Remotes disappear. You get up from your chair to adjust speed. |
| Ugly design | Builder-grade white fans with brass accents look dated and cheap. |
| Limited lighting | Either too bright (harsh cool white) or too dim (dingy warm white). No in-between. |
| Winter inefficiency | Most fans sit unused in winter while heat collects at the ceiling. Your furnace runs longer. |
| Outdoor failure | Standard fans rust, warp, or fail after one humid summer on the porch. |
| Complicated smart setup | Many “smart fans” require expensive hubs or bridges. |

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) – USA Edition
Q1: Can I install the Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor on my covered porch in Texas or Florida? Will humidity damage it?
A: Yes, absolutely. The Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor carries a damp location rating, which means it is specifically tested and certified for high-humidity environments like Texas, Florida, Louisiana, and coastal South Carolina. The Black Walnut Brown finish uses a weather-resistant coating that resists rust, peeling, and warping better than standard white painted fans.
However, there is an important distinction for USA homeowners:
-
Damp rated = Safe for covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and bathrooms where rain does not directly hit the fan. High humidity is fine.
-
Wet rated = Required for fully exposed locations like an uncovered deck, gazebo with open sides, or anywhere sprinklers or rain directly hit the fan.
If your porch has a roof (even a screened roof), you are fine. If rain can fall directly onto the fan, you need a wet-rated fan. For 99% of covered USA patios and porches, damp rating is correct and sufficient.
Q2: Will this fan work with my existing Alexa or Google Home setup? Do I need to buy a separate hub?
A: No hub required. The Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor connects directly to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. Many “smart” fans require a separate bridge or hub (like SmartThings, Wink, or a proprietary dongle). Lorpies does not.
Setup process (USA users):
-
Install the fan and turn on power.
-
Download the free Lorpies app (iOS or Android).
-
Create a free account (email and password).
-
Follow the in-app instructions to connect the fan to your 2.4GHz WiFi.
-
Link your Lorpies account to Alexa (via the Alexa Skill) or Google Home (via Google Action).
Once linked, you can use voice commands like:
-
“Alexa, set the patio fan to speed 4.”
-
“Hey Google, dim the porch light to 30%.”
-
“Alexa, turn off the bedroom fan in 45 minutes.”
Important USA note: The fan only works with 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz. Most USA routers broadcast both bands simultaneously. If you have a newer router that auto-selects, you may need to temporarily disable 5GHz during setup or use your router’s admin panel to ensure your phone is on the 2.4GHz band. This is a one-time requirement.
Q3: My ceiling is 7.5 feet high (low clearance). Can I still install this fan?
A: No – do not install this fan on a ceiling lower than 8 feet. This is a USA building code safety issue.
The Lorpies Ceiling Fan Outdoor comes with a 5-inch downrod. Total height from ceiling to the lowest point (the light kit) is 15.7 inches (about 1.3 feet). On a 7.5-foot ceiling (90 inches), the fan would hang down to approximately 74.3 inches from the floor – that is 6 feet, 2.3 inches.
The USA National Electrical Code (NEC) and International Residential Code (IRC) require a minimum of 7 feet (84 inches) from the floor to the fan blades. At 74.3 inches, you would be violating code and creating a head-hazard.
What are your options?
-
Return the fan and look for a “flush mount” or “low profile” (hugger) fan that mounts directly to the ceiling with no downrod. Lorpies does not currently offer a flush mount version of this model.
-
Use a shorter downrod – but the fan is not designed for downrods shorter than 5 inches. The blades would likely hit the ceiling.
-
Raise the ceiling (not practical). For rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, buy a flush-mount hugger fan from another brand.
For ceilings 8 feet to 9 feet: The included 5-inch downrod is perfect. For ceilings over 10 feet, you can purchase longer downrods (12″, 18″, 24″, 36″) separately from Lorpies or third-party sellers.

Best fan for best price
I recently purchased this fan, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. It is not only efficient but also well-built, offering incredible value for money.Performance: The fan provides excellent airflow even at the lowest speed setting, making it perfect for both small and large rooms. The higher settings cool the room quickly, and despite its power, the fan operates quietly, which is a huge plus for me. It easily handles hot and humid days without any issue.Design & Build Quality: The fan has a sleek and modern design that fits well in any setting—be it an office, bedroom, or living room. The materials feel sturdy and durable, and I appreciate the fact that it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. The adjustable height and tilt mechanism are smooth and allow for precise positioning, ensuring you can direct airflow exactly where you want it.Energy Efficiency: One of the most impressive aspects of this fan is its energy efficiency. Despite running it for hours, it doesn’t consume too much electricity, which makes it both cost-effective and environmentally friendly.Features: This fan comes with a remote control, which is extremely convenient, especially when you’re in bed or on the couch. The timer function is another useful feature, allowing you to set it to turn off automatically, which is great for nighttime use.Assembly & Maintenance: It was easy to assemble right out of the box, with clear instructions and minimal effort required. Maintenance is straightforward as well; the grill is easy to clean, and the blades can be wiped down without hassle.Overall Value: For the price, this fan is an absolute steal. It delivers everything you could ask for in a high-performance fan, including durability, efficiency, and added convenience features like the remote and timer. If you’re in the market for a new fan that won’t break the bank but will keep you cool and comfortable, this is a fantastic option.

Quiet, tons of light, modern look
I bought two fans to replace the old ones on my lanai. LOVE these fans!!! There are six speeds in each direction (giving tons of airflow), three different light choices, and they completely light up the lanai using the brightest setting. The fan comes with two downrods, 6 inch and 10 inch. The 6 inch was perfect for one of my fans. But I needed an 18 inch down rod for the second fan because of the sloped ceiling. I initially purchased an 18 inch down rod from a home improvement store. However, , the wiring that came with the fan was a bit short when using this 18 inch downrod. Good news! The company sells the perfect 18” downrod with wires included. Once I receive that order, the second fan was installed. I am very, very happy with my purchase! Great value for the money!

Good fan when working, but good luck if you have a defective one.
This fan is nice looking and I have one in my living room that works amazingly. The reason for one star is as follows:I have ordered two of these fans and both have made a grinding noise at high speeds. With the first one, it worked beautifully for about 6 weeks. Then the grinding started. At first, I thought it was due to me installing it incorrectly, or due to poor balance on the blades. However, after trouble shooting on my own, I ended up discovering that is was in the housing.I tried to chat with amazon customer service about it, and got nowhere, as they typically aren’t helpful, and the manufacturer stonewalled me with automated responses. So I just decided, screw it, I’ll order another one, as the living room fan works amazingly, and the second fan USED TO work nicely as well. Get the second one, it works amazingly, for about six weeks. I tried cleaning this one differently as well, as I read that this can cause issues as well. Just spent 3 hours of my time trying to fix it, and finally spoke with Amazon customer service about it, explaining that this is the SECOND fan I have purchased and had issues with.Obviously, they were no help, gave me the link to the manufacturer, who still has a chance to salvage this situation hopefully.Long story, but if you get a working one, great. If you have one that has issues after about a month, you are screwed.

Great Ceiling Fan, worth the money
This is my second fan I’ve purchased. I lived the first one so much I purchased another one. I love it has a remote and has 3 different light settings. If you’re looking for a beautiful and quality fan, this one is for you.

Beautiful fan

Love this fan! My husband and I were able to put it together and install it in about 2 hours and we didn’t argue once! Easy install! Love the color with my dark green walls and ceiling. Fan is very quiet except when on level 4 and 5 it’ll make a rubbing noise. I will say it’s very effective because even on level 2 it makes our room cool! I would 100% buy this fan again even with the noise concern at level 4/5

Great Smart Fan for Large Spaces!
The media could not be loaded.
We installed this 72” ceiling fan in our living room, and we love it! It looks beautiful with its white and wood finish, and the large size is perfect for our high ceilings. The fan is quiet, moves a lot of air, and the light is nicely dimmable. One of our favorite features is how smart it is — we can control it with Google Assistant or Alexa or from our phones if we are away from home, which makes it super convenient. No more hunting for the remote (though it comes with one, too)! The installation went smoothly, and it’s been working great ever since. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, reliable, smart ceiling fan for big rooms.

Quiet, Bright, and Surprisingly Well‑Designed
So far I’m thoroughly impressed with these fans — I bought four of them, and each one has worked exactly the way you’d hope. The remotes are paired to their individual fan, so you never have to worry about turning on the wrong light or accidentally powering up every fan in the house.I didn’t connect mine to Alexa, and honestly, you don’t need to. I’m skeptical of smart devices when there’s a physical switch involved — I’ve had too many Wi‑Fi bulbs take forever to reconnect after someone flips the switch — so I appreciate that these work perfectly well without any of that setup. The lighting is surprisingly pleasant. The white light is clean and not harsh like fluorescent lighting. The warm setting leans a touch more amber, but it’s still firmly “warm,” not orange. The daylight mode looks like a normal daylight tone with a slight blue hue. None of the three color temperatures are offensive to the eye, which is rare. The dimmer gets decently low — not ultra‑dim — but in every room we installed these, the fan light isn’t the primary light anyway. It’s more than bright enough for things like putting away laundry or playing with toys with my sons in the living room. It’s winter right now, so I haven’t stress‑tested the airflow for long, but the blades are long and the motor seems efficient from the 20 or so minutes I ran them. Some reviews mentioned noise at higher speeds, but all four of mine are silent even on the highest setting. The only sound is the natural “air chopping” you get from any fan — just physics.Overall, these are the quietest ceiling fans I’ve ever had in a room, and the lighting options are genuinely well‑done. Great purchase so far.

**update-customer support was very helpful
**Update, December 13, 2025. After reaching to the manufacturer, they responded quickly and offered support. Once the support proved produced the same result they offered to send me a new transmitter and remote. I received the items and installed (very easy to do) everything worked perfectly. I waited a few weeks to update my review just to make sure it was still good. The fan is still working and the manufacturer has reached out a few times to make sure we are satisfied. I can say now that they have been helpful and willing to work with me throughout the process. I am adjusting my review to 4 stars because of their commitment to resolve my issue. The fan was great for the first two months (July-August) by the end of September, we noticed the remote control would no longer activate the light or fan. We thought it was the batteries and changed them but that didn’t work. We checked the connection to make sure nothing came loose. Not the case. We are out of the return and support window and feel like we just lost our money.
